Today I would like to introduce you to a destination in our area, the Japanese garden in Bad Langensalza. He also calls himself the Garden of Bliss. <\/p>\n

And indeed, in this wonderful autumn weather, the garden has a very special charm. <\/p>\n

Japanischer Garten<\/p>\n

It was laid out in 2003 and is approx. 7,000 square metres in size. It is divided into the areas of pond landscape with waterfall, iris garden, azalea garden, dry landscape with island of bliss, tea garden, dry waterfall, cherry garden, bamboo grove, place of the holy trees and of course the autumn garden. It is bordered by a Japanese wall. Some of the bonsai trees on display are over 100 years old. A tea house and a plant house complete the garden. The visit is subject to a charge. There are also combined tickets for the other gardens of the city.<\/p>\n

\n– Natural garden of the BUND
\n– little castle garden
\n– Aboretum (garden of trees)<\/p>\n

However, the Aboretum will be closed in 2017 due to redevelopment.
\nThe Japanese Garden opens:<\/p>\n

from May to October daily from 13 – 17 o’clock
\nin March and April only on Saturdays and Sundays from 13 – 17 o’clock<\/p>\n
